With the 4th of July just one week from Saturday – it’s not too early to mention our store hours for the holiday weekend.
Jubilee Furniture will be OPEN our normal hours on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3 (from 1 to 8 pm) and CLOSED on Saturday, July 4.
But THIS weekend we’re business as usual! We’ll be open today and tomorrow from 1 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
What follows are just SOME of the furniture you’ll find. As always, the Furniture Gallery is another place for you to virtually see our inventory. Remember, once something sells it’s eventually removed from the Furniture Gallery site but never from the blog (so sorry for any confusion that causes!).
stunning glass top table with four chairs – in excellent condition – perfect for a Florida room. I couldn’t find a label except for this one on one of the chairs and can’t find anything online for “Flax Brown” (except to do with flax seed). Maybe that’s the color of the stain? The inspector’s name? It doesn’t say Flax Brown at all but something else? Anyway – it’s a gorgeous set and priced $895
I noticed one small tear towards the bottom corner of this Roche Bobois sofa – otherwise in great condition. Priced $125
this Thomasville dining set is truly in mint condition and simply gorgeous! Includes a double pedestal table with 2 leaves and 8 chairs – again everything is in perfect condition – priced $895
and then look at this matching Thomasville side board – it’s so, so beautiful! Note the brass detail along the top back edge and the inland wood design! Sigh – just stunning (I rarely use that word and now have used it twice already in this post –AND – I might have to use it one more time!)! Priced $595
sweet side chair in good shape for only $25
five antique chairs (price tag says one is broken and I didn’t check to see what the issue is. Sorry) all for $95
a little faded – but otherwise nice olive green velvet sofa for $55; chair for $35 and ottoman for $20. Solid wood coffee table (finish needs some work) for $25
here’s the final piece that I think is stunning. It’s a Walter E. Smithe leather sofa – donor was a single guy who lived alone – purchased about two years ago. If you sat on this couch you’d never want to get up it’s so comfortable! Here’s a similar one which retails for $2,969 (doesn’t have the nail head trim and the seat cushions stop at the arm instead wrap around like this one does). Jubilee Furniture price? $695. There is some damage to the leather on the back corner (note second to last photo) but otherwise in perfect condition
lovely Henredon wingback chairs in very good condition. Priced $125 each
at $65 this Hill Manufacturing Corp. Lucite rolling chair is a steal! Alas – one leg is cracked (note second to last photo). Can it be repaired? I’m not sure (and remember all sales are final)
four piece sectional by Stickley – overall in good condition (some minor adjustments are needed) – priced $245
really lovely storage cabinet priced $195
I love the green and light blue upholstery on this retro side chair! In very good condition and priced $55
two identical rolled-arm, camel back loveseats both in good condition. Priced $65 each
lovely striped loveseat in good condition – one back corner is torn – priced $125
fabulous French Provincial style bench (ideal for the end of a queen size bed) in great condition for $135
though this retro sofa needs some love (cleaned or to be re-upholstered and maybe new cushions) at $25 it’s an amazing price!
when I first saw this trunk and the $35 price tag – I was all “Wow!”. Then I noticed the damaged wicker on the other side. Too bad but then the low price completely made sense
did you know we have TWO large storage racks FILLED with gorgeous, thick, finished pieces of glass? And you cannot beat our prices!
I’m off next week, dear reader – but will have a reminder post listing our holiday hours (but no photos) and then I’ll see you on July 9 with my usual post chock-full of photos!
